A Boudoir Photoshoot is a wonderful experience and may surprise you with how it boosts your personal confidence and releases your femininity through strength. It is a delightful gift for your beloved and a way to capture this moment in time.
Why do I choose to offer Boudoir sessions?
For one, I have done my own as a gift to my husband. Keeping it spicy is always appreciated! I like to keep memories of how I looked at a certain age. We don’t get younger - we get older, and holding on to memories over our lifetime is something quite special!
Why SiSu for my Boudoir Photoshoot?
With my background of being a dancer for 48 years, I bring so much to the table. Trained as a classical ballerina, as well as several other genres of dance, I effortlessly guide clients to have correct lines and shape for each pose. I spent years creating artful poses with my dancers for my Academy marketing. I can instantly spot if something doesn’t look aesthetically and physically appealing, so we will tweak the position and perfect it to make the best style for your body! Movement is my expertise, and knowing how every different type of body works was a must for the dance world. Now I bring it to the photography studio.
Getting Started
I am very hands-on with clients. Planning through texts, emails, or Pinterest Boards is the best way for us to collaborate and make your session both pleasurable and successful. Outfit selection has the biggest impact on your shoot. Arranging colors and styles together will help tremendously. Adding some bling, like sparkly heels and classic jewelry (think pearls) in the shots are strong add-ins. But even a simple button-up shirt is fun to work with, so be creative!
You will receive a contract with other information at the time of your booking for shooting a Boudoir. It covers important details of how to plan the week, the day before, and the day of the shoot.
Communication before and at the time of shooting will continue through the process. I am devoted to making my client/model comfortable at all times. This includes temperature in the space shooting, posing, and slight touching to adjust hair and outfit, or cueing a pose. There will be short breaks for hydrating or bathroom time.
Location and Expectations
Boudoir shoots are performed out of my home and require a two-week advance booking notice. If you would like to shoot in a specific location, this may be discussed. Travel expenses may incur, and time with all my set-up gear can add $100-$200 extra to the price.
If the client wishes to bring an assistant, such as a friend/boyfriend/husband, this must be communicated beforehand. Depending on the type of photos you wish for, I do NOT use an assistant for personal client/model comfort. If the client/model wishes for a more creative shoot, such as adding in flowy silks or additional props, communication must be made ahead of time.
Please note that all photo sessions are strictly on a professional basis, and no distasteful behavior will be tolerated.
Image Touchups and Styles
Editing is done using several different styles. Darker and moody is more boudoir style, however light and airy shots can be added, depending on client/model preferences. I also use gels and different designs on the walls, along with backdrops for a more creative shot.
I do NOT heavily photoshop your body. Being true to oneself is who you are and will come across more naturally than editing to look more AI-created. Editing will address basic skin blemishes, smoothing, and removal of imperfections such as pimples, scars, or scratches that the client does wish to have edited. Tip: If the client does not like the abdominal area, wear clothing to cover that area. If the client needs a chest boost, wear more supportive attire in this area.
Image Delivery
- Final High-Res images will be sent to the client through Pixiset with a download key.
- Turnaround time is usually 2-3 weeks unless needed sooner. A rush fee will be included for faster turnaround times.
- Please note that at this time, I do not print images or offer memory books. There are plenty of options to choose from if you wish to have printed images.
Payment Policy
- Down payment of $50 to book your session and reserve your date and time. Final Bill will be due the day of, before your shoot.
- Payments are NON-Refundable, and I will allow up to 1 reschedule. The down payment will be subtracted from your Final Bill.
- No shows or cancellations 24 hours will not be rescheduled unless an explainable emergency that is proven has happened.
- This policy is put into place to be sure that clients who book are invested and committed to the shoot.

I am not the cheapest photographer, but please keep in mind the amount of time and money that is put into a photographer’s art. The amount of money spent on gear to capture the best lighting and art of an image is a factor, along with time. Even though your shoot might range from 2-4 hours, there will be considerable hours spent editing photos to deliver the best possible images to my clients. I commit to offering the best for my clients!
