So grateful for Megan, at SiSu Photography, who has been such a special part of our lives for almost two years. Not only has she captured these beautiful family memories, but she is a fabulously talented dancer and has been a wonderful teacher to our daughter in dance. Megan is someone we truly trust and admire.

With a family of nine, Megan’s patience, attention to detail, and care for everyone (kids and teens alike!) always shine through, and she somehow makes everything feel easy and fun. She’s flexible, quick with editing, and takes the time to make sure every moment is just right. These photos are memories we will always cherish, and we feel so lucky to have her in our family’s story.

1. Going into the session, I was honestly a little nervous and unsure of myself. Being in front of the camera can feel vulnerable, especially when you’re not used to it, and you feel old, but I also trusted you and knew it would be something special.

2. During the shoot, you completely changed the way I felt. You created such a safe, uplifting space and guided me the whole time, so I never felt awkward. Instead, I started to feel confident, beautiful, and actually had so much fun. You have a way of bringing out the best in people. You made me believe in myself.

3. When I saw the final photos, I was honestly emotional. You captured a side of me that I don’t always see. The photos are strong, feminine, and empowering, and they reminded me how important it is to celebrate yourself. That in itself is such a great feeling!

Megan did a weightlifting session photo shoot for me. I had no idea what to expect because I lift heavy and there’s not much grace. She reassured me by telling me things like she wanted strong not perfect. This eased my mind because I knew I could give her that. During the whole session, she was super encouraging.

After this, we did a quick session with my husband for our 20th anniversary. It was in nature and came out so serene and beautiful! Despite contending with wind and traffic, the pictures were stunning.

Working with SiSu Photogrpahy was an absolutely wonderful experience. I have done many photoshoots, but none as fun and collaborative as this one. Her professionalism, eye for beauty, and camera skills were very impressive. Her background as an established dancer gives her an edge in photography. She is able to see body shape and form and direct you accordingly into beautiful poses. It would be a pleasure to work with this photographer again.
