I absolutely loved getting the opportunity to work with Megan! We recently shot an athletic shoot together and had so much fun together. She was such a positive person to be around, and the photos came out amazing! I’d work with her again in a heartbeat and I highly recommend her as a photographer if you need high-quality photos to build a portfolio.

1. Going into the session, I was honestly a little nervous and unsure of myself. Being in front of the camera can feel vulnerable, especially when you’re not used to it, and you feel old, but I also trusted you and knew it would be something special.

2. During the shoot, you completely changed the way I felt. You created such a safe, uplifting space and guided me the whole time, so I never felt awkward. Instead, I started to feel confident, beautiful, and actually had so much fun. You have a way of bringing out the best in people. You made me believe in myself.

3. When I saw the final photos, I was honestly emotional. You captured a side of me that I don’t always see. The photos are strong, feminine, and empowering, and they reminded me how important it is to celebrate yourself. That in itself is such a great feeling!

Working with SiSu Photogrpahy was an absolutely wonderful experience. I have done many photoshoots, but none as fun and collaborative as this one. Her professionalism, eye for beauty, and camera skills were very impressive. Her background as an established dancer gives her an edge in photography. She is able to see body shape and form and direct you accordingly into beautiful poses. It would be a pleasure to work with this photographer again.

1. How did you or your dancer feel going into the session?
I generally do not like taking pictures on my own. Doing a solo shoot for headshots made me very nervous.

2. What was your CV experience like during the shoot?
I booked with Sisu Photography because I know that Megan focuses on making everyone feel comfortable. The way she works, showing the individual their pictures live as they are taken helped put me at ease. I felt better seeing the result right away and adjusting small things as needed. Megan also insured that I was focusing on poses that not only allowed me to feel comfortable, but they were a part of what I wanted to represent for my company.

3. How did you feel when you saw the final photos?
Upon seeing my photos such a relief and feeling of joy. I was so happy to see that Megan provided me with absolutely everything I was looking for in a photographer. My pictures came out exactly as I hoped and I am so excited to use them in my upcoming project.

So grateful for Megan, at SiSu Photography, who has been such a special part of our lives for almost two years. Not only has she captured these beautiful family memories, but she is a fabulously talented dancer and has been a wonderful teacher to our daughter in dance. With a family of nine, Megan’s patience, attention to detail, and care for everyone (kids and teens alike!) always shine through, and she somehow makes everything feel easy and fun. Megan did a weightlifting session photo shoot for me. I had no idea what to expect because I lift heavy and there’s not much grace. She reassured me by telling me things like she wanted strong not perfect. This eased my mind because I knew I could give her that. During the whole session, she was super encouraging.

After this, we did a quick session with my husband for our 20th anniversary. It was in nature and came out so serene and beautiful! Despite contending with wind and traffic, the pictures were stunning.
